Aquatic & Fisheries Capacity Development Team
The Capacity Development Team (CDT) is here to support your fisheries and aquatic resource management capacity needs through structured organizational and technical capacity development activities and coordination of skills development and training opportunities. Our focus is to support and develop the capacity of Indigenous communities and organizations participating in aquatic and fisheries management in Atlantic Canada, coastal Quebec, the Yukon and Northwest Territories, and British Columbia.
Our qualified team of professionals will work with you to identify, plan, and implement the organizational and technical capabilities you need now and into the future.
To support and increase the capacity of Indigenous communities and organizations (groups) participating in the aquatic and ocean resource management spaces through structured organizational and technical capacity development activities and training.
Engagement with the CDT and our services by Indigenous clients is completely voluntary and confidential and will not be a requirement for ongoing or future participation in DFO collaborative programs or initiatives.
